Over the years our lovely guests have consistently complimented us on our hygiene and cleanliness, so now as standards have never been more important, we’ve introduced a number of additional procedures to ensure your stay with us is as relaxed and concern free as possible, with your only worries being what to choose for dinner or whether to order that extra dram!
Easy Does It
Now there’s no need to wait at reception filling out forms! We’ll email you with a link to our Sonas Collection APP which not only allows you to check-in online (all guests are requested to do this before arriving) but also provides a wealth of useful information about your chosen hotel and surrounding area.
A Warm Welcome
Sited outside the main entrance of each hotel is a sanitising station with an automatic hand sanitiser and member of staff (appropriately PPE’d and social distanced), who will explain our hygiene procedures and give you your welcome pack containing hygienic room key, face mask and helpful information for your stay. If assistance with luggage is required, simply remove the bags from your car and we will take them safely to your room.
Additional to our normal high standards of cleaning, our housekeeping staff are implementing a unique anti-bacterial ‘TOUCH-POINT’ surface disinfectant regime using industry leading cleaning products and procedures according to Government guidelines.
If that wasn’t enough we’ll be ‘fogging’ your room and bathroom prior to arrival, this sanitising process, employed in hospitals around the world, eradicates 99.9999% of viruses, bacteria and fungi.
The Lightest of Touches
To keep outside contact with your room to the minimum, we’ll be operating a ‘LIGHT TOUCH’ service, which means our house keeping staff will only service your room if specifically requested. If you prefer a traditional housekeeping service, please let us know when you arrive.
Keeping your Distance
Whether in the bar, restaurant, our outdoor eating areas or public spaces, we’ve made social distancing really simple! Just arrive with a healthy appetite or raging thirst and we’ll do the rest. Alternatively if your idea of being sociable only involves yourselves, our extensive room menu service is just a click away, check out our APP for details.
Haste Ye Back
With our contactless checkout system you’ll receive an email the night prior to departure which enables you to self-check-out on your personal device and receive your final invoice. All we’d ask is that you leave your key in your room on departure and exit through the entrance corridor avoiding reception. Oh and just in case we don’t see you depart, thank you so much for coming, have a safe trip home and please, please haste ye back!
Our New Normal
All our team members will wear face masks and visors in accordance with government guidelines. They will also wear gloves where appropriate. When not wearing gloves, they will be employing high frequency hand washing.
- Staff will be temperature checked each day prior to starting their shift.
- Staff will be tested regularly as tests become available.
- Staff will be using the selected tracing app.
Just in Case
If in the unlikely event of you experiencing any COVID symptoms during your stay including high temperature and a new continuous cough, we kindly ask you to stay in your room. You will find doctor and other medical services information as well details on our hotel app. Contactless temperature checks and oximeter checks are available, simply call the front desk to organise a check.
